RANDI KEEFE

RANDI KEEFE


Randi Keefe has been dancing for over 30 years. She has studied ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre and modern dance. She assisted the This’n’That programs for four years. She has also studied tap, jazz, modern and musical theatre through Sisler High School where she received the Burrows MLA Award for Dance and Entertainment.

Randi has choreographed many numbers for talent shows and school musicals and has also taught jazz and tap at Sisler High School. In 1996 and 1997 Randi travelled to Minneapolis to the L.A. Danceforce workshops. Randi participated in the L.A. Danceforce Showcase Competition and won a silver and a trophy for a jazz duo she danced with her sister, Karly. In 1998, Randi went to Calgary to the Triple Threat Dance Convention and has attended the Winnipeg convention every year since then.

Randi has also attended workshops taught by Brian Foley and Sean Debiden. She has enjoyed participating in the Manitoba Provincial Dance Festival and has received Gold Honours for her performances. Randi passed her Grade 5 Cecchetti Ballet Exam and is continuing her studies in Ballet. At the 1999 Triple Threat Dance Convention held in Winnipeg Randi performed her Modern Solo “Imagining You”. She received a trophy for her moving performance. Other performance credits include a local production of "Godspell" in early 2001 and more recently, she danced in "The Home Crew's" video "The High Life" shot at Boogie Nights for Much Music.

Randi graduated from the University of Winnipeg with her Bachelor of Education and was formerly teaching dance as well as academic programs at Lincoln Middle School. Family life keeps Randi busy now with her sons Toban and Jasper and daughter Avaline.
